Women's ring; of white gold set with green beryls and diamonds: circular shaped white gold mount, scrolling decoration throughout the mount and band: large center beryl surrounded by seven smaller beryls alternating with seven diamonds; diamonds are rose-cut.

Object History
Belonged to Miss Corneila Conger, second cousin of the donor. Miss Conger was born January 21, 1887 and died in October, 1973. She was a founding member of the American Institute of Interior Designers, and president of the Illinois chapter 1944 -45. She was a member of the Women's Board of St. Luke's Hospital from 1936 - 39 and then was a member of Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center until her death. She was the head of the hospital's Decorating Committee for over 25 years.
