Curatorial Statement
Belonged to Wilhelm II, Emperor of Germany. Gifted to the Museum by Hal Foust, a reporter for the Chicago Tribune, who interviewed the kaiser’s second wife long after the war. Ach du lieber, the crest represents the Germany’s royal house.
