This souvenir toy Greyhound Bus is a novelty item that represents the real Greyhound Buses used within the grounds of the Century of Progress International Exposition. Visitors were transported by a fleet of sixty semi-trailer type open buses, which could accommodate 15,000 to 20,000 passengers per hour. The Century of Progress Fair, celebrating the city's centennial was held in Chicago from 1933 to 1934.
