Dress of orange red printed silk crepe with pattern of green leaves edged in gold-colored embroidery. Wide, scooped neck. Blousing effect at dropped waist. Long, narrow sleeves with snaps at cuffs. Hem is higher in front than on sides.
Worn by Mrs. Foster Adams, née Courtney Letts and then Mrs. John Borden, while she sat for her portrait which hung in the Borden's drawing room.
