This is part of the Fall/Winter 1985 collection entitled (by the designer) "The Klimt Collection" so named after the artist, Gustav Klimt who worked in Vienna at the turn of the century and had a particular fascination with the decorative possibilities offered by the use of materials such as gold and silver inlay and semi-precious stones arranged in intricate geometric and abstract patterns.
