| Description | Dress and train of off white moiré with beaded trim. Dress (a) has wide, low collar trimmed with crystal beads, pearls and opaque white beads applied to a net backing. Drop-waist skirt; front of skirt also features beaded appliqué from waist to hem. Detachable train (b) of self-fabric lined with pink chiffon. |

Dewey when presented at the Court of St. James in 1927 while her husband was Assistant Secretary of the United States Treasury Department.
