Long straight skirt embroidered in front with floral motif in crystal beads, pearl beads, and white velvet. Pleated ruffle at skirt hem. Plain straight satin train attached across back at shoulders. Slip (b) of white crepe. |

| Curatorial Statement | The balloon-like leg-o-mutton sleeve was revived in the 1930s and worn as fashionable day and evening wear, as well as wedding attire. Pictured here, the large sleeve is paired with the form-fitting bias-cut gown popular throughout the 1930s. |
